WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT - 12.10.07 EVENT

Last Monday 12/10, Col-Met Spray Booths hosted a special event at our facility where Eric Jones was proud and honored to present the Wounded Warrior Project with a $10,000 check - the result of our fundraising activities that took place around NACE. Juan Arredondo, Sergeant U.S. Army (Retired), was there on behalf of the Wounded Warrior Project to accept the donation check. Juan is a true American hero and we urge each of you to read more about him at Touch Bionics' web site.

Sean McEndree, a driver whose truck Ryno (Trick My Truck) painted, drove his "tribute truck" to Rockwall to be a part of this event. McEndree's truck honors fallen and wounded soldiers by displaying an Arlington Cemetery scene, a Purple Heart and an American flag. He was a specialist in the 96th Transportation Company in Iraq. Jeff Burke, from Paintline Products Inc., also attended to receive Ryno’s tricked-out go-kart that he won at NACE. Unfortunately Ryno was stuck in Joplin, MO due to the ice storm that struck that day, so he was unable to attend the event, but it ended up being a great morning for a great cause - and again Col-Met thanks all of you who helped support this effort!

Have a safe and happy holiday season everyone!!!
